Principal’s Message

On behalf of all my colleagues in Scoil Íde, I would like to welcome you to our school website. We hope you find the site informative and useful and that it gives you a sense of how we work as a school.

Our school motto is Fás agus Foghlaim– Grow and learn. It is my sincere hope that when children leave our school in 6th class that they will have grown in more ways than one. I hope that we will have helped them develop academically to the best of their abilities. More importantly, I hope that they will know the value of hard work, the importance of  kindness and the necessity to show respect to those around them. If that happens then our parents and guardians, my colleagues here in Scoil Íde and the children themselves can be justifiably proud of their time with us in the school.
