Part 1: Admission to the 2027-2028 School Year 

Application and Decision Dates for admission to Scoil Íde 2027/2028

Number of places being made available in mainstream Junior Infant classes in 2027/2028  =84

The following are the dates applicable for admission to Junior Infants

The school will commence accepting applications for admission on the 1st Oct. 2026

The school shall cease accepting applications for admission on the 1st December 2026 at 3pm

The date by which applicants will be notified of the decision on their application is the 15th December 2026

The period within which applicants must confirm acceptance of an offer of admission is the 1st February 2027

Note: the school will consider and issue decisions on late applications in accordance with the school’s admission policy. Failure to accept an offer within the prescribed period above may result in the offer being withdrawn

Special Class Application and Decision Dates for Admission to the 2027/2028 school year.

Number of places being made available in the Autism Class in 2027/2028 = 0

The following are the dates applicable for admission to the school’s special class which caters for children with Autism

The school will commence accepting applications for admission : N/A

The school shall cease accepting applications for admission : N/A

The date by which applicants will be notified of the decision on their application : N/A

The period within which applicants must confirm acceptance of an offer of admission : N/A
