Free Book Scheme & Stationery List

Thanks to funding granted by the Department of Education and Skills, Scoil Íde is in a position to
provide all children in the school with their books, copies, workbooks and some related classroom
resources for the school year.
The schoolbooks and workbooks will be on loan to the children. It is important that books are kept
in good condition so that they can be re-used by another child the following year.
Parents and guardians will still be expected to provide certain stationery for use at school and you
will get the list of these items by email before the end of this school year. This list will also be available on this page on the school website.

Stationery for School Year 2024/2025

Junior Infants:  Eraser, Playdough tub x 4, 6 Whiteboard markers and an A4 Whiteboard

Senior Infants: Eraser, Playdough tub x 2, 4 Whiteboard markers

First Class: Pencils (coloured), eraser, sharpener and pencil case

Second Class: x1 Eraser, 1 Red pen, 1 Ruler (30cm), 1 Triangular pencil sharpener, 1 Set of Twistables, 2 Glue sticks, 1 Highlighters (Yellow), 2 Black Sharpies 

Third Class: Pencils, pens, ruler, eraser, sharpener and an A4 whiteboard and 2 whiteboard markers

Fourth Class: Pencils, pens, ruler, eraser, sharpener, A4 Whiteboard, 2 whiteboard markers and earphones.

Fifth Class: Pencils, pens, ruler, eraser, sharpener, A4 Whiteboard, 2 whiteboard markers and a Mathematical set

Sixth Class: Pencils, pens, ruler, eraser, sharpener, A4 Whiteboard, 2 whiteboard markers, Mathematical set, Gum shield and sports socks.
