After School Club

 Important Update: October 30th, 2024

The Board of Management of Scoil Íde sought proposals for the establishment of an After School Club on the grounds of Scoil Íde in September 2024.
Brookview Childcare emerged as the preferred candidate after a thorough review process. The Board of Management and Brookview Childcare are now in the process of working through the finer details with the aim of setting up the After School Club  as soon as is practicable. It is hoped that the After School Club will commence on November 18th, 2024.
It is important to note that Brookview Childcare is a separate entity to Scoil Íde and  all queries in relation to After School Club should be forwarded to the following contact details.

Justyna Klimas ( General Manager) and Brenda O’ Regan ( Assistant Gemneral Manager / HR Manager ) were in attendance and outlined how the After School Club will operate. They  also answered any questions that attendees posed.

The outline of the Information Evening was as follows…
  • Introduction to Brookview Childcare
  • Overview of After School Program (Activities & Workshops)
  • Opening Times, Prices, and Flexibility
  • Staff Introduction & Selection Process
  • Enrollment Process (Directly through Brookview Childcare)
  • Assistance with National Childcare Scheme (NCS) Funding
  • Expression of Interest Collection and FAQs

It is worth noting that Afterschool Club will commence at 13:45 and finish each day at 18:00.
The Board has requested that parents / guardians can avail of the service by the day and by the hour on any given day.
The Board has also requested that each room in the Afterschool Club is capped at 24 children with two adults per room.
Once Brookview has an idea of numbers wishing to avail of the service we can work out the number of rooms required.
