Student Council

We believe that our students should take an active, positive part in the life of their school and we encourage this through the Students’ Council. The Council is made up of representatives of 5th and 6th classes- one boy and one girl from each class. The pupils nominated must have the approval of their teacher. They will be pupils with a good attitude to school and to work. Each class representative is required to be actively involved in the Council. This includes attendance at meetings and participation in activities. Each Representative should be seen as a role model for other pupils.

The Council usually meets once a fortnight and the class representatives report the outcome of meetings to their own class and are occasionally required to outline Council plans to pupils of other classes. Each year the Council decides on its own activities.
