Parents' Association

As a Parents’ Association, our aim is to work on items that may assist Scoil Íde parents and pupils, or indeed the school itself. Our recent work has included running ‘Coffee Mornings’ for new parents at the school, organising a second-hand book sale and uniform drop and swap, providing parents with a list of ‘extra curricular’ activities carried out on the school premises and working with Limerick City Council on developing a new safer entry point for children at the front of the school.

A list of projects that we are working on include, organising a series of talks for parents, some further ‘Social Events’ for parents and the annual table quiz and second-hand book sale in June.

We typically meet on one evening each month to discuss ideas, deliver feedback from parents and plan projects that we hope will be of benefit to parents, pupils and school. Details of our meeting location, dates and time can either be read in our school newsletter column by clicking on ‘News’ above or alternatively as notified on Scoil Ide website. We sincerely welcome new attendees.

Hope to see you at our next meeting!
